Background

New Cross National Temporality Project has been launched in Berlin

APSS is one of the partners in New Cross National Temporality Project. In the following 3 years this joint program aims to enhance cultural and urban discourses by questioning the notions of permanence and stability associated with the spatial dimension of architecture with the focus directed towards the everyday and ephemeral temporalities of its processes.

The project brings together cultural and academic institutions from seven European countries (Albania, Georgia, Germany, Montenegro, Portugal, Ukraine, and Spain) around the notion of “temporality” through architecture and urbanism. The program has been selected for Creative Europe funding until 2025.

This international network will document, research, and highlight common temporary spaces, including micro-institutions and grassroots organizations. The first working session took place in July in Berlin, where partners introduced themselves and their roles within the project, as well as focused on work project discussion.
